The Day the Blog Began
What can I say, the day went pretty typical--- my school day was a half-filled glass (whether it was half-empty or full is of course, up to you; me, I'd rather be having cranberry juice. but hey, it could be an oatmeal smoothie, so who am I to complain?), and before I knew it, my incomprehensibilis statu* was altered entirely, as it had been for several weeks prior and i knew it would be until march (and perhaps longer)-- today, after all was robotics.
"Ah." I said. "So soon?" Not really disappointed. If it weren't for the unfinished work, I wouldn't be at all.
Thus ensues the short, music-filled car ride to a school that is not mine, but whose lab in which i can only feel at home.
By the time I'm there, the rodents of Worry and Self-Berate-ment are no longer gnawing on my neurons, and with a single step through the threshold, they've all scattered away into the dark distance beyond my brain. It's like shifting gears, really. It's not that a whole slew of Synapse Corroding Vermin aren't scratching around in my skull, but rather, vermin which are better contained and controlled.
I suppose, no matter what happens here, this is my turf, and I feel confident that I can take on whatever challenges dare to show their faces.
